    I live nearby and have a weakness for donuts. This place never disappoints. I've been mostly in the evening and it's always fresh and good. The service is always friendly tho the employees look like they are homeless or have a drug addiction. Either way the donuts are amazing as ever!

    This place needs a serious remodel and new grease in the fryers. I'm not sure how you can, with any conscience, serve a donut that disgusting. I felt like I needed a shower after leaving. Tried it twice too to give them a second chance. Grease soaked and not fresh grease either
    HOW DO YOU MESS UP A DONUT!
    I've had Winchell's at other locations and they were great. Drive a little further for another option...or you'll be sorry.

    Great donuts.  Awesome selection. For the most part they seem to be fresh.  The place smells wonderful. But I seriously don't know what goes on in the back coz the people that are serving always seem to look angry.  I don't think I've ever gotten a smile all eight times I've been in.

    Very dirty place!! Went to buy donuts on Mother's Day and it was very empty but took awhile to get help while someone who seemed to be a friend of the workers, who was definitely on drugs tweaking out-- was talking to the workers. I was told to "hold on" while the non paying customers was staring at me on all cracked out talking to the cashier and cook about where she's gonna live. Very annoying and unprofessional!!! Also, while I picked out donuts I wanted, the lady was very rude and kept telling me "ya I already got that donut" in a rude voice when I would point to say what one I wanted.

    My experience here was a good one. They make the breakfast sandwiches fresh on the grill! No frozen microwaved sandwich here!
    Fresh egg, ham & cheese on a toasted croissant really tasted great! Of course the donuts are great too!
    They have a nice variety of donuts and specialties that will please any sweet tooth.
    My favorite however takes a special order and it's better to call ahead to get what you want verses what's on display.
    I prefer the Bavarian creme with powdered sugar instead of the chocolate frosting.
    Great location on a busy corner of Kipling & 44th here in Wheatridge Colorado.
    When I am back here visiting, I will check in for a sweet retreat!
